Venae Fowler-Jackson, M.A.
Venae founded We"R"Listening because she has a deep passion for working with the youth and wanted to give back to the community. Venae was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and is a married with two children. She attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she received her Bachelors degree (B.S.) in Legal Studies and attended Brooklyn College where she received her Masters degree (M.A.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Venae is also a professional model and has been in the modeling industry for 14 years. Venae has mentored many teens in her life over the years and wanted to make it a full-time venture. Her motto is "the youth are the most impressionable and this is the time to make a significant impact." That she will do!

Becky Peralta is co-owner at BeKa Photography, Inc. Becky was born in the Dominican Republic and at the age of nine years old came to the United States with her family. Becky attended Baruch College - Weissman School of Arts and Sciences. She presently owns her own photography company alongside her sister. They specialize in portraits, events and weddings. Becky is a great leader, very driven and ambitious.
Antoinette Prescott is a native from Brooklyn, NY and currently resides in Virginia Beach. She is a professional working mother of 3 girls, who has always had a passion for helping our youth. Antoinette has had her fair share of challenges as a teenager and hopes to utilize her experiences to help the upcoming youth and be a positive guide in their lives.
Ms. McCline is a Senior Human Resources Professional with over 20+ years in HR Management. Ms. McCline is also a Certified Teen/Career Coach. Ms. McCline has mentored and coached adults in career change and professional development. Ms. McCline has also mentored teens in setting S.M.A.R.T. goals. Ms. McCline has been able to build a positive rapport with her mentees by listening and creating a safe environment for them to become comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Ms. McCline is a passionate role model ready to assist and support both teens and adults in over-coming self limiting beliefs and work towards building positive self esteem.
Ms. McCline holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from DePaul University in Chicago, IL and is a Certified Teen/Career Coach. Ms. McCline is currently employed as an Employee Relations Manager at Stepan Company.
Cassandra James, M.A.
Cassandra James graduated from Towson University with a B.A. in Psychology. After working for two years, she decided to pursue a Master's in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Brooklyn College. She recently was certified as a Professional in Human Resources. It is her goal to mentor young women in a way that wasnt afforded her to allow them to have a safe place to vent their inner feelings, ask questions, and get honest feedback.
Dieshia is a married mother of two and originally from Harlem, New York. She currently reside in New Jersey. Dieshia attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she received her B.S. in Legal Studies. She is a paralegal and her hobby is ice skating. She is interested in working with teens so she can make a difference in their lives. She wants to give them the opportunity to know that someone is there to listen to them and that they are not alone.
Katy Peralta is the co-founder and co-owner of Beka Photography Inc. She initially earned an Associates Degree from New York City Technical College, and while working as a dental ceramist, later earned her B.A. from Hunter College. Katy's infinite passion for photography and the arts led her to establish, alongside her sister, Beka Photography Inc., an endeavor which has proven to be successful. Katy's hard work and determination have made her aware of the importance of setting goals in life. She understands how much guidance, support and the right words at the right time can change people's lives.
Phylicia McCline, M.A.
Phylicia McCline holds a Masters degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (Chicago, IL). She completed Undergraduate studies at Lewis University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management. Phylicia has over 7 years of experience working as a corporate Employee Benefits Specialist and hopes to one day become a consultant in the Benefits/HR field. In addition to her full-time career, she is currently pursuing her true passion (Health & Fitness) and will be a Certified Personal Trainer by Spring/Summer 2014. Phylicia enjoys being a youth advocate/mentor and has experience mentoring in various capacities. She has been a group leader on college peer lead retreats; held numerous executive board positions with her fraternity (Delta Sigma Pi - a Professional Coed Business Fraternity); and continues to be an active volunteer with a local youth organization which helps support and mentors teens going through challenging times. She volunteers her time to the organization at least once per week and looks forward to every opportunity where she can encourage and support our youth. Phylicia resides in Chicago, IL.
